Welcome to Gooding Training Academy

We’re excited to announce the launch of Gooding Training Academy, a specialist accountancy training facility right here in the heart of Wiltshire.

History

Gooding Accounts (one of the largest Accountancy Practices in Wiltshire) have long been passionate about providing outstanding internal training for their employees. Gooding Accounts Training Manager and Chartered Accountant, Sam Bates, is thrilled to expand the training centre with a vision to provide excellent face-to-face accountancy training courses to businesses and individuals across the South West.

Why Gooding Training Academy is different

Here at GT Academy we believe that training should be rooted in the real-world. Our training team all still work in practice, allowing them to bring active case-studies into the classroom allowing you to translate your training directly into the workplace and giving our candidates a head-start for their future careers in accountancy. 

We understand that different ways of learning suit different individuals. Our collaborative small group sessions have a maximum of 10 learners, with individuals encouraged to ask as many questions as possible to help them get to grips with the course content. We offer a flexible and relaxed learning environment with our team on-hand to mentor and support learners to be the very best they can be.

Our courses

We currently offer QuickBooks and Dext training courses, with many more coming online over the next few months. Meet the team

Practicing Chartered Accountant - Sam Bates heads up Gooding Training Academy and will be leading the first courses from our Wiltshire training centre in Trowbridge. Sam is supported by an administrative team who help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the GT Academy and respond to any questions you might have. Sam’s passion for education is long held and he’s been coaching and mentoring candidates to academic success for many years. His patient and reassuring training style ensures candidates are comfortable to ask questions to help them succeed in their studies.
